A professional approach to assessment and intervention.  Dr. Gavin Reid and Jenn Clark provide exceptional services in intervention and the diagnosis of dyslexia and other associated learning challenges and learning differences. The Reading Lab is committed to following the science of reading utilizing evidence-based research and findings throughout their work.  Services include Psych-Educational Assessments, 1:1 Orton Gillingham lessons, workshops, training and much more.

Dr. Gavin Reid carries out full Psych-Ed assessments. The assessments are comprehensive and the reports written in accessible language to facilitate subsequent school, family and if appropriate, specialist teaching support.   The assessments also provide and diagnosis and designation if appropriate and follow up meetings can be arranged.

The tests used by Dr. Reid as far as possible use Canadian norms and the up to date standardisation.  Dr. Reid is happy to discuss the assessment with parents/ schools prior to the assessment if necessary. Dr. Reid’s e mail is gavinreid66@gmail.com

Jenn Clark  provides 1:1 Orton Gillingham Classes for primary and secondary students.  In addition, she also provides teacher training and parent workshops.
